Tencent Cloud Computing (Beijing) Co., Ltd. Review 2026

4.0(10 reviews)

Tencent EdgeOne is a CDN and edge computing platform operated by Tencent Cloud Computing (Beijing) Co., Ltd., positioned as Asia's leading edge infrastructure provider. Rather than traditional web hosting, it specializes in content delivery acceleration, security services, and serverless edge deployment. The platform boasts 3,200+ global CDN nodes (2,500+ in Asia), 400 Tbps global bandwidth, and integrated security layers including DDoS mitigation, WAF, bot management, and CAPTCHA protection. EdgeOne also offers Makers, a managed platform for deploying web applications and AI agents with zero infrastructure overhead, supporting popular frameworks like Next.js, React, and Python-based agents. While positioned for speed and security rather than traditional hosting, it appeals to enterprises needing global acceleration, especially for Asian markets, and developers building edge-native or AI-powered applications.

Does the job well

Tencent Cloud Computing (Beijing) Co., Ltd. has been a solid hosting choice. Uptime is good and page speed is decent for the price. Customer support took a little longer to respond than I expected once, but they did resolve my issue properly.

Best decision for my website

I'm not super technical so I needed something simple, and Tencent Cloud Computing (Beijing) Co., Ltd. delivered. The dashboard makes sense, setup took maybe 15 minutes, and everything just works. My page speed actually improved compared to my old host too.

Works fine but had a few issues

Tencent Cloud Computing (Beijing) Co., Ltd. gets the basic job done but nothing stands out. Page speed is average, and I had one instance of downtime that wasn't communicated well. Pricing is fair but I expected a bit more reliability.

Happy with the service so far

Good experience with Tencent Cloud Computing (Beijing) Co., Ltd. so far. The control panel is intuitive and migration from my old host went smoothly. Only minor complaint is the renewal price increase, but that's fairly standard across hosting providers.
