How we review hosting providers

Our goal is to give you a realistic picture of each hosting provider, not just marketing promises. To do that we combine our own checks with what real customers say.

When we review a host we usually look at:

  • Plans & pricing – what you get on each plan, introductory vs renewal pricing, and any key limits (storage, bandwidth, sites, email, backups).
  • Performance & uptime – the technology stack (SSD/NVMe, HTTP/2/3, data centers), plus published uptime guarantees and independent benchmarks where available.
  • Support – support channels (chat, ticket, phone), availability (24/7 or limited hours), and typical experience based on user feedback.
  • Features – ease of use (control panel, installers), backups, staging, SSL, email, security tools, and extras that matter for real projects.
  • User reviews – patterns across reviews (what people consistently like or dislike), not just single outlier comments.

We try to keep reviews up to date, but hosting products can change between updates. You should always confirm critical details (pricing, resources, terms) directly with the provider before signing up.
